Specialist Psychiatrist and Mental Wellness Expert
She obtained her medical degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2011 and Membership in Psychiatry from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2021.
Her research interest focuses on imroving mental wellbeing within communities, as well as mental health of vulnerable groups. She has been a clinical instructor for health trainees including residents in psychiatry, medical students among others during their psychiatry rotation at Pantang Hospital.
She has facilitated a number of mental health related workshops and trainings for corporate organisations as well as faith based organisations.
Dr. Nuamah is a US Department of State Sponsored International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) Alumnus, and a 2023 IVLP Impact Award recipient for her work in developing Mental Health educational resources for persons with hearing impairment.
